Things to do before New Year’s Day

New Year’s Eve the last day of the year, is on December 31. In many countries, New Year's Eve is celebrated at evening social gatherings, where many people dance, eat, drink alcoholic beverages, and watch or light fireworks to mark the New Year.

Things to do before New Year’s Day:
(1) Choose your event wisely Specially when you are looking for a cool and awesome party but you end up on a boring and not-so-cool party. You can organize your own party with your parents and tell them your ideas so you can welcome the New Year with a smile in your face.
(2) New Year's Eve is dressy, not fancy-dressy No rabbit ears, elephant trunks, hats with lights, hats with horns, tinsel scarves, giant 2011-shaped glasses or masks of any kind. Don't, in short, go out of your way to look a fool.
(3) Wherever you go, don't wear your new Christmas coat Chances are you'll never see it again. New Year's Eve tends to be one of those nights when retiring party-goers are content to go home wearing the first coat they find that looks vaguely like the one they went out in – it's black, it's got buttons, it must be mine! The person who took your coat will leave one behind that looks vaguely like yours, but you'll have to wait all night to find out which one it is, and it almost certainly won't be as nice.
(4) Pace yourself This isn't just about alcohol. The problem with New Year's Eve is not that it ends so late, but that it begins too early. If you start with a glass of champagne at 4pm, you may well find your interest in the whole new year's project flagging by 11pm.
(5) Don’t drink too much You will miss the best part of the night if you try to vomit and feel sleepy because you drink too much, its better to stay awake and eat all you want because tomorrow is another year and forget all the bad things last year.
(6) It's OK to cry Bursting into tears at a normal dinner party is generally taken as a sign that you're having either personal problems or a bad reaction to your medication, but on New Year's Eve it's considered perfectly normal, so feel free.
(7) Make no resolutions until tomorrow, or possibly the next day A lot of people regard tonight as the final deadline for new year's resolutions. Don't be cajoled into making any hasty announcements about quitting smoking, taking guitar lessons or being more socially committed, especially if it's just for the sake of joining in. Last-minute resolutions are often impractical and undesirable.

Things we didn’t know about Dr. Jose Rizal

Rizal Day is a Philippine national holiday commemorating the life and works of José Rizal, one of the Philippines' national heroes. It is celebrated every December 30, the day of Rizal's execution at Bagumbayan, now known as Rizal Park, in 1896. Commemorate the execution of national hero José Rizal by Spanish colonial authorities on December 30, 1896.

Things we didn’t know about Dr. Jose Rizal:
(1) He didn’t take a bath for a month. Rizal was once invited to a New Year’s potluck party where he was assigned to bring champagne. He did not like the idea, throughout the merrymaking he just lectured everybody and advised against drinking, gambling and womanizing then he stood up and says “inabonohan niya lang” and request everybody to pay their share of the champagne bill. They thought it was a joke till Rizal passed his hat around. Rizal survived on Php50 a month in Europe, and he once wrote his sister Maria in December saying that he had not taken a bath since August, because it was “really expensive”.
(2) Rizal once won the lottery. Not only was he extremely gifted, Rizal was incredibly lucky too. According to the First Filipino , while Rizal was exiled in Dapitan, he won Php6,200 in the lottery with ticket number 9736. He used half to buy some land and sent the rest to his father.
(3) Rizal had psychic tendencies. Once Rizal’s dreams mirrored the future. One such dream was the one he had on December 30, 1882. According to the book Rizal Without the Overcoat, Rizal wrote in an entry in his journal date January 1, 1883: “(Two nights ago) I had a frightful nightmare when I almost died. I dreamed I was imitating an actor in a scene which he dies, I felt vividly that my breath was failing and I was rapidly losing strength. Then my vision became dim and dense darkness like that of nothingness overpowered me: the anguish of death…” Disturbingly, Rizal was executed on the same day 3 years later.

Be like Rizal? Or just be yourself and express what you really feel, telling others the truth behind all the lies is not a crime but it’s the key to open others mind to things that they don’t know.

Giving achievements or awards with our country name in it is a heroic act, you just don’t give medals and trophy you give honor to our country.

Wouldn’t it be great if your friends and loved ones also knew about it? Share this to your friends right away! If you have loved it, I'm sure they will love it too.

Christmas Day is a all time favorite holiday in the whole world. Christmas Day is one of the most festive holidays in many countries around the world. It is a Christian holiday in memory of Jesus Christ’s birth and most people celebrate the day on December 25 to have special family bonding and give joy to others.

Tips to enjoy Christmas Day/Eve:
(1) Shop Year Round For Christmas Gifts Shop for items for Christmas gifts you will give out all year round. This eliminates stress and then you do not have to rush about in the month of December. This gives you time to relax as the holidays approach and make preparations to enjoy Christmas Eve.
(2) Make Plans with your friends If your friends already celebrate there Christmas with there family and other relatives, have a simple plan to hang out or even go somewhere adventurous that you and your friends will surely enjoy. If your planning to drink outside better to drink responsibly.
(3) Choose Simple Gifts This may be simple but it brings joy to other people or just simply to your friends and relatives, we don’t need to buy too expensive things just to let other people know that he/she is important, also giving hugs and kisses when the gift is given.
(4) Be a good Samaritan If you and your family want to have a twist when celebrating Christmas Day, try to celebrate it with other people examples; poor people in a community (you may choose 3-6 family just to manage the family members) give foods/gifts to Orphanage or organize and manage Feeding Program in your city/community this way you can bring Merry and Joy to there hearts and sure it will be unforgettable.
(5) Have fun. Kids enjoy Christmas. There is no reason adults can’t do the same. Allow yourself to be a child again. Pop crackers, enjoy unwrapping presents and playing with the wrapping paper.
(6) Consider having some “purpose” around Christmas. Maybe do some volunteer job? Perhaps reflect on what you can do to be an improved person or how you can contribute to society.

Let’s keep the Christmas Spirit alive in our hearts and make our everyday Christmas Day by just simply sharing what we have and happiness to others.

Wouldn’t it be great if your friends and loved ones also knew about it? Share this to your friends right away! If you have loved it, Im sure they will love it too…

Sandy Hook Elementary School Mass shooting incident

And mind you , as young as 7 years old ang edad ng mga batang nasangkot sa karima-rimarim na trahedyang ito.

Please rest in peace our dear little angels.

Butch Charvet album Awit Kay Kleyr

Dahil tiyak na maluwag na ang bolts and nuts sa utak he he he .

Congratulations Janine Togonon , Ms. Universe 2012 First Runner-up

Janine Togonon made it by landing first runner-up in the just concluded Miss Universe 2012 held in Las Vegas USA.

Although many of her fellow Filipinos believe that it is her who should've won the crown and the title of being the most beautiful woman on Earth , it is still the judges decision that will prevail after all.

Hometown decision , sabi ng marami.

Lutong makaw , sabi pa ng iba .

But for me , although talagang  nakakapanghinayang , kailangan nating tanggapin ng maluwag sa puso anuman ang hatol ng inampalan.

Anyway , it's their call , not ours.

Eh tayo kaya ang mag-judge duon noh .

At any rate , Janine Togonon really outshines them all.

For many of the Filipinos , she is the reigning Miss Universe in their hearts .

Ay any rate , congratulations to Olivia Culpo as Miss USA for winning the crown this year.

Mabuhay ka Janine Togonon.

Nonito Donaire Junior , winner by KO

Salamat dahil may redeeming glory tayo sa pagkapanalo ni The Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire Junior via his  3rd round KO over Jorge Arce on December 15 , 2012 sa Houston , Texas USA.

At least nabawi natin ang pagkatalong nalasap ni Pacman over Juan Manuel Marquez sa latest fight nila this year.

R.I.P. Stan Hornilla

Daddy Stan and the rest of the batch

Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is a global observance and not a public holiday. The day may also include protests to alert people of circumstances in parts of the world where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is not recognized or respected, or where the importance of these rights are not considered to be important. Cultural events are also organized to celebrate the importance of human rights through music, dance, drama or fine art.

Human Rights, Democracy and Freedom: (By Tenzin Gyatso, H.H. the XIVth Dalai Lama)
(1) Closing the Gap Between Rich and Poor in this way we can balance the rights between and the poor if we don’t segregate other people’s rights or take advantage of poor people’s weakness. We can help them if we give knowledge.
(2) Democracy and Peace Today, the values of democracy, open society, respect for human rights, and equality are becoming recognized all over the world as universal values. However, responsibility for working for peace lies not only with our leaders, but also with each of us individually. Peace starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us.
(3) Human Rights Providing for equality under law, the declaration states that everyone is entitled to equal rights and freedoms without discrimination of any kind. Peace and freedom cannot be ensured as long as fundamental human rights are violated.
(4) Improving Observance of Human Rights Internationally, our rich diversity of cultures and religions should help to strengthen fundamental human rights in all communities. Underlying this diversity are basic human principles that bind us all together as members of the same human family. We all have common human needs and concerns. We all seek happiness and try to avoid suffering regardless of our race, religion, sex or social status.

We all have our own rights .. but we still have our wants even when we don’t need it. So let's set our minds that we can have all we want and need but we don’t have the right to judge other people’s lifestyle or we cannot misunderstood their actions, because like us we have the right to act who we really are.

Wouldn’t it be great if your friends and loved ones also knew about it? Share this to your friends right away! If you have loved it, Im sure they will love it too…

Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez Part 4

At any rate , mabuhay ka aming Pacman !

Consider this :
How many Mexicans can take down Pacquiao?
Just JUAN.
How many Mexicans had fallen through the hands of Pacquiao.

Wa na ako ma-sey !

10 Things Pinoys should be proud of ...

Nais ko lang i-repost at i-share itong entry from Lyka Bergen And Her Stepsisters blogsite . Mag-eenjoy kayo promise !

The Philippines: A comparison to others.
10 Things Pinoys should be proud of.

If the Swiss has the best chocolates to taste...
Ours, is the best to see! (For your eyes only)

If America has a Black President....
Dont worry, we have the Black Messiah.

If Rome has the Spanish Steps...
Pinoys have the Stairway to Heaven

If their masks are scary....
Ours are always happy!

If San Franciscans love their Farmer's Markets......
They'll surely go gaga with this one: Very Bongga!

If their cone is cold.....
Ours is smokin' hot!

Yes, they're white......
But we are more pure and natural.

If Hollywood's 'Golum' was 2001...
Mother Lily's 'Undin' was 1991. Who told you na gaya-gaya tayo?

If their men cannot...
Ours can!

If Thailand is famous for their Go-go Boys...
Ganon? Ours are unique noh! We put pa some culture to it...
