The Kindle Storyteller Award, a new literary prize recognizing newly published work in the English language across any genre, is open for entries. The prize is open to all authors who publish their books for the first time through Kindle Direct Publishing on between February 20 and May 19.

Now you can publish books in five Indian languages on KDP

We are excited to announce a new beta program that allows KDP authors to publish eBooks in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati and Malayalam. If your book is written in any of those five languages, you can submit your manuscript in DOC or DOCX format under this program. Publishing your eBook on Kindle gives you a chance to get shelved next to thousands of top titles in these Indian languages, while reaching out to millions of readers across the world, even outside India.
