Corned Beef Or Corned Tuna?










Nakakaaliw naman ang bagong disclaimer commercial ng Argentina Corned Beef wherein Host Boy Abunda is taste testing kung alin ba ang totoong " corned beef ".








At ang host ay buong ningning na sinabing " mas lasang corned beef ang Argentina ".








Eh paanong hindi nga lalasang corned beef yan eh talaga namang corned beef nga yan ha ha ha.








I think, for me, there is no comparison or even a rivalry between a "corned" beef and a "corned" tuna.








Dahil magkaiba naman sila ng produkto, yung isa baka, at yung isa naman , tuna!








Ang common denominator lang is the "generic" word na " corned ", which means " salted " at hindi ibig sabihin na may "mais ang baka". Hindi naman siguro nabili ng Argentina ang salitang " corned " para magreact sila ng ganyan.








So if you cure a tilapia with a "corn" or grain of salt , corned tilapia na yan. Ditto with corned bangus, corned chicken, corned sheep o corned dilis he he he he.








Ang tunay na kalaban ng Argentina ay ang 555, Ligo, CDO, Swift, Purefoods at iba pang brand name na may parehong line of product na corned beef!
